Seattle Trip

Towards the end of Winter break we took a day trip to Seattle.
Emily felt right at home in the Ikea kitchens. Take note of the sparkle counter tops. Super glam. Super Emily.

We were downtown shopping and had time to go to Pike Place Market. It is always a must when in Seattle. We had some good food and drooled of the bouquets of flowers. Please take note of Lauren's photography skillz. {She's in photography this quarter. So that means she did this before her class. Nice work Lauren.}

We had lunch at Cheesecake factory, as if this trip could get any better.. Chicken Bellagio [pictured above] and Crispy Chicken Costeletta filled our bellies. And all was right in the world.

This lovely table was found at Ikea. It's supposed to be a sewing table but the BFFD girls think this would be a great anything table! How beautiful! {and cheap-double bonus}

This Seattle Trip was just what we needed. It was relaxing and fun with the best company...Each other.:D

Dear Jasmine,

You have someone waiting for you.
Anna and Emily invited me to go to Dairy Queen.
Three girls out for ice cream! WATCH OUT!

Anna got a regular ice cream cone. The girl had the hardest time making the cone! I mean she wasn't squishing it down so she had to keep making the cone over and over. Finally, someone had to step in do it for her! Um, I've known how to make an ice cream cone since 2nd grade when I ate at all you can eat places that had soft serve ice cream available. gah!
Anna can tough her tongue to her nose without any problem. She has an abnormally long tongue. eeeeeee!
Check out the pretty building. So pretty inside and out.
mmmmmmmm! blizzards!

Chung

(This is not my chin, nor Emily's. If you are the owner of this chin. Please understand I mean no harm. Chung is my friend too. oh. and you have a lovely chin)
Emily has been talking a lot about this new friend she and I have both made. He's kinda pesky and steals all of our good shots in pictures. But we love him..because we love food. If you get what I mean. Brian and I went to dairy queen and he took this picture of me. Um hello chung but please take a step back and get out of my picture!

Jasmine in T-minus 4 days. (T-minus 4 days until Jasmine meets chung!)

Truely Scrumptious

well Jasmine is coming home from being south of the border for three months.
Emily and Lauren saw a commercial for Olive Garden for new pasta that they have. oh my goodness gracious. We had to go! Lori also saw the commercial and she was dying to go. That night the four girls headed to O.G.
Emily clearly looks fab. I think it might have been her pasta.
Belli was there as well. She is such a funny baby.
Lori enjoyed her favorite Italian/German/Indian/I have no idea margarita!
The food, Oh the food was to die for. As usual. Emily and I, if you've read this blog at all, know we LOVE food. aaaand Olive Garden was no exception. scrumptious
We went to costco and got new glasses. Like our new looks?!

Pyper update!

Well, we're at it again! We made a quick bffd Friday afternoon.
Before getting very far we found houses for sale! One street over from Lauren there is two houses for sale. How fabulous would it be living so close to each other!
Then we wanted to go see Pyper and Sandi. Before getting there we realized we hadn't asked if it was ok. To kill time we went around the block. West Valley bar and grill is a VERY popular, high-class social gathering out here in the good ol' WV. We almost got stuck in the parking lot. Them country folk woulda had to come rescue us city folk!

We got the go ahead from Sandi. Luckily, we didn't get stuck and could get to their house quickly.
familiar?!

Coming around the corner, Pyper and Sandi were on a walk! How flippin' presh!?
LOOK AT THIS FACE! He was VERY happy to see us and has A LOT of energy!
This is "The Puppy Hallway!" sort of self explanatory. :)
This wreath was around his belly! He was playing with it and walked through with his front paws! Funny boy!
Lauren was being bitten alive. He is such a puppy!
He already knows how to sit!

Sandi was giving him string cheese for his reward. He is already a very pampered poodle ;)

He grabbed Emily's earring out of her ear!
Being the rascal that he is, she has to pry is massive jaw and fangs apart to get it from him.
We loved our visit with him.
He gets tuckered out after running around like a maniac. Such a nice puppy! Sandi and Randy can not wait for Jasmine, their adoring daughter, to come home and take him out at 4:30a.m. :)
