We did it!

Our mission is complete! Jasmine wanted to give her mom a puppy since her dog recently passed on. Being out of the continent it was hard for her to get one to her..so we (Emily and Lauren) took on the challenge. We went to the pound, we looked on the web, and we called people we knew...and we found...we found this: a labradoodle!! (unfortunatly, I don't have a good picture on this camera) After looking at many, many dogs we found him. Jasmine agreed and a few dollars(or lots) later we got him. We planned it so we could pick him up tonight and deliver him just in time for christmas. We got a basket of things that a first time puppy owner would need. Things like training bads, puppy food, dog bones, dog treats, and dog bowls were in the basket. We had it all planned out several time and every 30 min we changed our mind. after the bairds were at Lauren's house, Emily picked her up and went out to the Rutundo's house (the puppies old name) We called Randi (he had called to figure out skype) and we asked if we could stop by because Jasmine gave us something to give to Sandi. We got the boxed wrapped, wrote out what Jasmine wanted to have in a note that we'd give to Sandi and headed out. We got to the baird house. Brian would wait for us to go inside and LanE would walk inside say Hello, say oops we forgot the presents.(we're space cadets) Sandi went and sat down while Lauren got her video camera out and Emily brought Brian who was holding the wrapped box that had the puppy in it. Brian set the box infront of Sandi but she wanted to wait for Randy to get in the room. The puppy was good and sat there until the very end.(Randy was taking his time..as if he knew that was trouble brewing in the living room) the dog bumped the lid off a little but Sandi didn't see the dog. she just said "Randy get in here!!" he came Then she opened the box.. it went PERFECT! Sandi was totally surprised. I got it all on video Sandi cried reading the letter from Jasmine. Lauren and Emily would just like to say that we totally approve the letter. Jasmine said amazing things in it about her mom. We are not surprised she cried. Good Job Jas! you did great. so after many long days and dreadful detailed planning we pulled it off. prefectly. Giving something so special is a good feeling. "My Christmas is made."-Lauren Meet Piper!

The video for this big event wouldn't upload! maybe another time!

'Tis the SEASON!

We were on another bffd and we stopped off at a dear friend's parents house! Guess who that was?!?!
The Baird family!
Walking to the door, there was a beautifully lit tree in front.
We were greeted with the Christmas spirit right away!

Upon entering the house, the savory smell of home cooked taco soup filled the cheery air. The also pleasant aroma of Christmas goodies was the perfect way to get us in the Christmas spirit. (Yes Jasmine, FUDGE)

Here are some pictures from our visit: Look what we have here! Jasmine's ornament! Ticker bell!

OHHHH! FAMILY. so presh. Seth was even there to make us feel welcome and loved, and we did!

Meow! "Where is Jasmine? I miss her."

This tree is nice but Jasmine could have picked a better one!

Jasmines stocking was hung on the chimney with care!

Zoey's ornament, made my Jasmine many years ago, was on the tree. Very cute!

Another one of Jasmine's was hung on the tree. Jasmine was in all of their hearts, even being thousands of miles away

To:Jasmine She even has presents under the tree! (They aren't underwear...we asked.)

Jasmine isn't around to organize and reorganize the presents. They were looking a little mangy.

Right before leaving, Sandi gave us presents from Jasmine much to our surprise.

Disclaimer:Taco bell is out of toilet paper tonight...
They also have drains incase of emergency..

We couldn't wait to open our presents..so we did...

OMG!!! WE GOT SNUGGIES!!!

After leaving the house, we went on a top secret mission called Operation Santa's little helpers...Unfortunely, we are unable to disclose anymore information concerning the matter at this time.

We can tell you that this secret mission took us to the ghetto and beyond...

Merry Christmas!

Out and about again today!
This post will have no food in it. totally strange for our BFFD's though. totally.
Well bright and early Emily came to Lauren's and hurried her along to get the day started. We were off to the Humane Society.
The roads were still pretty slick. (WV had a 2 hour delayed-second day in a row) Going around the curve on Lincoln by the Warehouse theatre Emily MIGHT have been going a little to fast. and we MIGHT have come inches from hitting a mailbox! We didn't hit anything though. Always a plus in Lauren's book.
We got to the Humane Society quite a bit before it opened. So we crossed the street and went to K-mart. The first time going for Emily and a walk down memory lane for Lauren!

We took the scenic route around the store and wasted precious time we will never get back..

LOOK how beautiful Yakima is today! It's so pretty...

We then headed for the dollar store right next door. The enter door's sensor wasn't working so Emily went to the exit door..and sure enough
it opened! The dollar's just trying to keep us on our toes!

The dollar store had such amazing gift ideas! We'll def. be doing all of our shopping there next year. Check out what we found! When WON'T you need to have a masquerade mask?!
Naturally and Artificially flavored orange juice from concentrate! Now THAT's an honest label. To the point also. No distractful pictures or words.
Saved the buyer lots of time, saves the maker lots of money!
Lauren has never seen cholesterol for your hair! If you were looking for some, it's at the dollar store for a dollar!

finally it was time to go to the Humane Society.
Lauren had tears seeing these poor animals. She surely has a large heart;)
Emily was kind enough to tell Lauren the last isle of dogs are the ones closest to being put down. She's about to cry again.
Here is a picture of a puppy or two. We wish we could save them all!

Look at these legs! These are "Shorty's" legs. I love them. They bring me happiness.

phew what a busy day!

Hello hello blog world!
We're blogging again!
Today we had to run a few errands so we did it together. That's the best way to do it!
First stop- Wal-mart! Emily looks so happy to be going. Look at that face. presh! (After writing here I'm going to go to peopleofwalmart.com and submit this ;)---JK!)

While we were walking through the produce department, we saw this and immediately thought about our dear friend, Jasmine M. B. (full name not disclosed to protect her identity.) You see Jasmine is on her way to Ecuador. Costa Rica right now, Colombia on Friday, and Ecuador after the first of the year. I hope she eats a banana while she's there because we could totally be eating bananas from the same farm! Thanks wal-mart, you guys think of everything.

After picking up some things we moved on. This stop sign represents the many stop signs we stopped out throught the day.

By this point in our bffd we needed food. A bffd is not a bffd without some food. So we went on our quest...GUESS where we WENT??? nope not even The Taj this time

Red Robin?
NOPE..

hint:
"yo queiro Taco Bell!"
you guessed it!
This is Emily with her taco bell back. um yum!

After a quick sit down lunch at Emily's with baby bella Emily had to go to IKE
She's cute in front of a crowd. How she gets peoples attention is yelling "hey dudes!" or "yo" haha

They all came running when she told them to. Nice work Em!

After that we dropped off the baby. Emily knows a crazy lady from her days from working at the coffee shop. This lady, Suzy, can be described as a nut, loony, gooney, crazy, loco, fun, funny, etc. She was throwing a MaryKay party. Emily and I, always up for adventure, thought we'd make an appearance. Maybe a cup of cider along with browsing.

We just so happened to be the only TWO people that showed up! Because of that we were able to get the drawing prize winners! Diamond bracelets!

How beautiful is this!? We totally scored. Now we have bffd bracelets! score!

so that's it! Happy Wednesday!
Bffd-out!

Let it snow!!!

HELLO FANS!

Sorry it's been so long, but not to worry! We have plenty to show you! Some of the photos are from last week, some from this week. WHAT A TREAT!

Last week Lauren and Emily got together to have lunch. I bet you will never guess where they went..... THE TAJ!!!!

Remember one of our first posting was about the Taj Palace. It is the most DIVINE indian food EVER and we LOVE IT!

Here is Lauren scarfing her butter chicken!

And Emily!

After our lunch we had to part ways, but we will never forget all of the wonderful times we have shared at The Taj. It really is the PERFECT spot for a BFFD don't ya think?

Lauren and Emily are going to hang out today and will post again later, but we thought it was important to update our friend Jasmine on some of the latest that is happening here in Yak-town. IT'S SNOWING!!!!

It may not look like much, but boy oh boy there is a lot! We love snow, but it is not fun to drive in!

Well, until next time!
