Our mission is complete! Jasmine wanted to give her mom a puppy since her dog recently passed on. Being out of the continent it was hard for her to get one to her..so we (Emily and Lauren) took on the challenge. We went to the pound, we looked on the web, and we called people we knew...and we found...we found this: a labradoodle!! (unfortunatly, I don't have a good picture on this camera) After looking at many, many dogs we found him. Jasmine agreed and a few dollars(or lots) later we got him. We planned it so we could pick him up tonight and deliver him just in time for christmas. We got a basket of things that a first time puppy owner would need. Things like training bads, puppy food, dog bones, dog treats, and dog bowls were in the basket. We had it all planned out several time and every 30 min we changed our mind. after the bairds were at Lauren's house, Emily picked her up and went out to the Rutundo's house (the puppies old name) We called Randi (he had called to figure out skype) and we asked if we could stop by because Jasmine gave us something to give to Sandi. We got the boxed wrapped, wrote out what Jasmine wanted to have in a note that we'd give to Sandi and headed out. We got to the baird house. Brian would wait for us to go inside and LanE would walk inside say Hello, say oops we forgot the presents.(we're space cadets) Sandi went and sat down while Lauren got her video camera out and Emily brought Brian who was holding the wrapped box that had the puppy in it. Brian set the box infront of Sandi but she wanted to wait for Randy to get in the room. The puppy was good and sat there until the very end.(Randy was taking his time..as if he knew that was trouble brewing in the living room) the dog bumped the lid off a little but Sandi didn't see the dog. she just said "Randy get in here!!" he came Then she opened the box.. it went PERFECT! Sandi was totally surprised. I got it all on video Sandi cried reading the letter from Jasmine. Lauren and Emily would just like to say that we totally approve the letter. Jasmine said amazing things in it about her mom. We are not surprised she cried. Good Job Jas! you did great. so after many long days and dreadful detailed planning we pulled it off. prefectly. Giving something so special is a good feeling. "My Christmas is made."-Lauren Meet Piper!
